Youth Ministry Registration!
IHM Youth Ministry is comprised of the following programs:
6th Grade Catholic Connections - This is a transitional year from Faith Formation into Youth Ministry. At the end of 5th grade Faith Formation students are given a Bible. This year we open up the Bible and develop knowledge of scripture as well as other vital components of our Catholic Faith. Meets on Sundays 4:15PM - 5:45PM
Confirmation 1-Preparation for Confirmation in the Diocese of Charlotte can begin in 7th grade or above. 2 years are required to prepare for the sacrament. If the student has not received 1st Eucharist/Communion, they should select the Catholic Foundations program to prepare for sacraments. Meets Sundays 4:15pm-5:45pm
Confirmation 2-Students in 8th grade and above who have completed Confirmation 1 may enroll for their 2nd year of preparation for the sacrament. Meets Wednesdays 7:15 PM - 8:45 PM
Catholic Foundations-This program is for youth who have little or no prior catechesis and did not receive First Eucharist/Communion in elementary school. This will prepare them for sacraments and give them lifelong knowledge and tools to live out their faith. Meets Sundays 4:15pm-5:45pm
Life Teen- This is a program for youth who have celebrated Confirmation and would like the opportunity to deepen their faith and delve into young adult topics in a comfortable Catholic setting. There is no fee for Life Teen. If you register here you do not have to go to the payment link or provide a confirmation number at the end of the form. You may choose to make a donation to help with expenses. Meets Sundays 7pm-8:30pm
