A Simple Gesture collects bags of food for local pantries every other month from parishioners’ homes and IHM Church.
Bereavement Committee works with the priests to comfort, console and support families in their time of grief and healing.

Comfort Weavers Prayer Shawl Group knits or crochets Prayer Shawls for the sick of our parish and local communities. Sessions are held on Monday mornings from 9:30 - 11:00 AM in the Parlor.

Elder Ministry supports our senior population by providing information, education, spiritual and social resources for them and their caregivers.
Food for the Needy Distribution collects non-perishable food items every first, full weekend of the month. Food donations are brought when you come to Mass and are left in the Gathering Space of the Church.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing for low-income households.
Holistic Health Ministry provides care for the body, mind, and spirit of our parishioners who are ill and organizes the annual Blood Drive. They also provide blood pressure screening during Welcoming Weekends.
Life Chain supports the pro-life movement in the Triad area.
Military, Veterans and Families Outreach (MVFO) enhances the wellbeing of our military, veterans, and their families...with companionship, pastoral and spiritual care in our local communities.
Mobile Meals delivers hot meals to elderly, homebound people the first Monday of every month.
Open Door Shelter volunteers prepare food at home and bring it to the Shelter for monthly dinners. Some volunteers take turn serving the meal on the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
Our Daily Bread distributes grocery store baked goods surplus to local food pantries.
Pennybyrn at Maryfield is a non-profit Catholic nursing home only 10 minutes from IHM. Pennybyrn at Maryfield is grateful for the assistance of our parish volunteers.
Respect Life Committee volunteers organize and participate in different events, such as the annual Life Chain and Baby Bottle Boomerang, to promote the sanctity of all life. They also sponsor a rosary on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:15 PM (after the 6:30 PM Mass) in the St. Francis de Sales Chapel.
